Police Beat: APD issues 104 citations March 22-28

In the period from March 22-28, 2026, the Apopka Police Department received 1,606 calls for service, responded to 36 crashes, issued 104 citations, and made 21 arrests. Burglaries: 19 vehicles, 0 residences, 2 businesses. Juveniles were charged with burglary-unoccupied conveyance unarmed (X3); resist officer-obstruct without violence; larceny-other theft (X3). 

The following adults were arrested and charged: 

Mariano Barragan, 41, 217 N. Maine Ave., Apopka, battery-touch or strike. 

Willie C. Johnson, 34, general delivery, Apopka, larceny petit theft-merchandise farm transit 2+ prior conviction. 

Wes Erik Cady, 48, 611 Business Park Blvd. 101, Winter Garden, trespassing-failure to leave property on order of owner. 

Michael Anthony Vaz, 51, 213 W. Kings Hwy., Center Hill, DUI-unlawful blood alcohol, DUI-damage to property or person of another (X3). 

Marie Elizabeth Digiovanni, 48, 218 E. 17th St., Apopka, drugs-possession of controlled substance without prescription. 

Kenisha Renee Scott, 36, 2444 Sentry Palm Dr. #302, Apopka, resist officer-obstruct without violence. 

Luis Alberto Sotelo Maritte, 47, 621 Old Dixie Hwy., Apopka, other agency warrant. 

Yair Olguin, 25, 1705 Mid Summer Ave., Apopka, moving traffic violation-operate motor vehicle without valid license, 1stconviction. 

James Colin Gibson, 31, 225 S. McGee Ave., Apopka, trespassing-occupied structure or conveyance. 

Juan Camilo Perez, 30, 457 Maudehelen St., Apopka, larceny-grand theft, property value $750-$5,000; drugs-possession of controlled substance without prescription; drug equipment-possession and/or use. 

Kristine Moreil Morris, 18, 406 Firewood Ave., Eustis, burglary-unoccupied conveyance unarmed; larceny-other theft; fraud-illegal use of credit cards, use credit card to obtain goods less than 2 times less than $100. 

Deborah Lynn Galvani, 55, general delivery, Port Orange, out-of-county warrant. 

Nestor Luis Gonzalez, 58, 902 Sheeler Oaks Dr., Apopka, out-of-county warrant. 

Tyrin Da`Jon Hamilton, 30, 985 Saddleback Ridge Rd., Apopka, out-of-county warrant. 

Jakobe Kiam Williams, 19, 1571 Danisco Pl., Apopka, drugs-possession of controlled substance without prescription; out-of-county warrant. 

Nathan Scott McFerren, 40, 1930 Nicole Lee Cir. #915, Apopka, damage property-criminal mischief, damage property $200-$1,000. 

Cyd Chetram Paul, 70, 32 W. 4th St., Apopka, aggravated battery-with a deadly weapon; resist officer-obstruct without violence. 

Anthony Deshawn Jorge, 35, Apopka, battery-touch or strike. 

Devon B. Jerome, 35, 1533 Silver Fox Cir., Apopka, failure to appear, felony warrant. James Junior Seay, 55, 40 Sterling Brown St., Apopka, sex assault-sex battery on 18+ years of age by person 18 years of age. 

Melissa Michelle Ironnecklace, 45, 620 E. Orange St., Apopka, aggravated assault-with deadly weapon without intent to kill; possession of weapon or ammo by convicted Florida felon.
