Southern fast-food chain Bojangles has arrived in Apopka, giving away $100 gift cards to its first 50 dine-in customers earlier this month.
“This opening is about more than just great Bojangles chicken and biscuits—it’s a celebration of the people of Apopka,” said Bojangles CEO Jose Armario in a Sept. 8 press release. “We’re excited to introduce our Southern hospitality and famous flavors to this growing community.”
Founded in 1977 in the Carolinas, Bojangles serves Southern comfort and Cajun-inspired food in 24 states, with 14 restaurants in Florida alone. The Apopka location at 3050 E. Semoran Blvd. marks the seventh Bojangles restaurant in the Orlando-Daytona Beach-Melbourne metropolitan area, according to the release.
“Our goal is to make Bojangles a household name in Apopka,” said Bojangles senior director of marketing Allyson Campbell in a Monday statement to The Apopka Chief. “That means investing in real estate, building strong teams and creating a foundation for long-term success. The more we can welcome in repeat customers, the better we can serve you and grow alongside you.”
Bojangles Apopka is open 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, with the grand opening festivities continuing through Sept. 30 via a free breakfast-for-a-year giveaway.
