Scott Sevigny, general manager of the Forest City McDonald’s, and McDonald’s Area Supervisor Jason Watson were given certificates by Seminole County Sheriff Dennis Lemma for their help in dealing with a serious and dangerous situation that occurred in April.

Sheriff Lemma spoke about the severity of the case, stating that one of his main concerns was not being able to assure citizens they were safe until the case was solved. Investigators were working hard to do that, and with the assistance of Scott and Jason they were able to unravel the case, getting a dangerous felon off the streets. The sheriff stated that there had never been a case such as this that was wrapped up so quickly, and he thanked Jason and Scott for recognizing the severity, doing all they could to provide information promptly, and dropping everything else to help. Watson was actually running a marathon, providing information by phone, and never losing stride to do so.

By doing that, it resulted in the incarceration of the suspect, who is facing very serious charges. The SCSO was thankful to be able to put the minds of hundreds of thousands of Seminole Country residents at ease, knowing a dangerous felon was off the streets.

Sheriff Lemma and his team extended their thanks to both Sevigny and Watson, awarded Certificates of Appreciation, and gave them Challenge Coins.
