In the period from August 2-8, 2026, the Apopka Police Department received 1,442 calls for service, responded to 35 crashes, issued 27 citations, and made 17 arrests.  Burglaries: 4 vehicles, 2 residences, 1 business. Juveniles were charged with battery-touch or strike.

Jason Acevedo, 21, 821 Palmera St., Orlando, larceny-retail theft greater than 1 location $750+ within 120 days. 

Michele Marie Welch, 50, 2003 Sanderlin Point Loop, Apopka, battery-touch or strike. 

Samuel John Adderley, 39, Apopka, battery-cause bodily harm. 

Wilgue Paul Pierre, 39, Apopka, battery-touch or strike. 

Steven Larochelle, 30, Apopka, aggravated assault-with deadly weapon without intent to kill. 

Earl Bibbs, 53, 4153 Jespersen St., Apopka, non-moving violation-alter obscure vehicle registration/license plate; resist officer-obstruct without violence. 

Jerry Martel Anglin, 47, 611 Business Park Blvd. 101, Winter Garden, trespassing-failure to leave property on order of owner. 

Elizabeth Giles Jaimes, 19, Apopka, battery-touch or strike. 

Matthew Clint Plass, 44, general delivery, Orlando, larceny petit theft-merchandise farm transit prior conviction. 

Danny Charles Hawkins, 44, 88 W. Ponkan Rd., Apopka, drugs-possession of controlled substance without prescription; drug equipment-possession and/or use. 

Erdinc Karatas, 39, Apopka, battery-touch or strike. 

David Rosario, 63, 442 E. 13th St. Apt 213, Apopka, drugs-possession of controlled substance without prescription. 

Malachi Mathew Westleigh, 27, Orlando, battery-touch or strike. 

Gage Delane Horton, 27, 505 Ocean Ave., Apopka, possession of weapon or ammo by convicted Florida felon; drugs-possession of controlled substance without prescription (X3); drug equipment-possession and/or use. 

Christine Leeann Laravuso, 35, 534 Orange Ave., Daytona Beach, moving traffic violation-driving while license suspended, revocation equivalent status.  

Desi Ricardo Alvarez, 36, Apopka, resist officer with violence; battery-touch or strike; battery on specified personnel.
