Operation Green Light aims to help with overdue traffic tickets, criminal fines for suspended licenses

Operation Green Light is being held statewide from Saturday, April 6 to Saturday, April 20. This initiative aims to help thousands of people with overdue traffic tickets or criminal fines whose driver licenses have been suspended.

Orange County is extending its hours on Wednesday, April 17, from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. at the Orange County Courthouse, Suite 410 to help customers with outstanding traffic tickets and criminal fines get on a payment plan as the first step to getting their driver’s license reinstated.

Customers may be eligible to have certain collection fees waved, get on a payment plan, and have their suspended driver’s license reinstated if all requirements are met. A down payment is required for a payment plan and reinstatement fees are applicable.  Affordable down payments are available.

No appointment or prior registration is needed.

If customers are not able to attend this initiative, the Clerk’s Office Compliance Division in Suite 410 can assist residents with a suspended driver’s license any time of the year with payment plans. Details are available at www.myorangelcerk.com
