Carl Jackson Huggins (Gramps) lived a blessed life of 92 years. He was born and raised here in Apopka. He always called it the “Big Potato”. On November 10, 2023 God sent his Angels to come and take him home. He passed peacefully surrounded by all his loved ones. He has now joined his mother Alvie, father Phillip, three brothers Jimmy, Bill (Doris) and Bobby (Wynette); as well as many others who passed before him. Carl is survived by his sister Gladys; daughters Angel (Buddy), Deborah (Tom), Penny, Carolyn (Jimmy) and Janice; sons Phil (Janice), Danny, Jackie (Ashley); 18 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.

MARILYN “LYNNE” ALDERMAN, 89 of Apopka died on October 23, 2023. Her greatest joy was raising her 11 children. She retired from Seminole County Schools where she worked for many years as a school bus driver. Lynne was a devoted Roman Catholic and member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church since 1972.
