The Apopka Elementary School Honor Society collected money from the car line and purchased more than 400 boxes of macaroni and cheese. On May 19, Loaves & Fishes, an Apopka social services organization, picked up all of the boxes at the school. Over the years, the school’s honor society has donated food collections to Loaves & Fishes. Loaves & Fishes is an Apopka nonprofit, nondenominational Christian mission serving an area that includes nine ZIP codes.
