Local businesses, entrepreneurs and community leaders were honored for their community service, contributions to the community and accomplishments at the 2023 annual Apopka Chamber Business Awards.
John Ricketson, publisher of The Apopka Chief/The Planter newspapers, received the 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Chamber.
John Peery, late editor of both newspapers who died last October, was honored as a lifetime Chamber ambassador.
The Apopka Area Chamber of Commerce conducted its annual Apopka Chamber Business Awards today, Monday, December 18, at the Apopka City Center Hilton Garden Inn.
