Because of a prescribed burn in Lake County by the Florida Forest Service, Monday, February 14, was a very smoky day in Apopka and throughout Central Florida as shown in this picture taken from the pedestrian overpass that spans U.S. Highway 441. Here, the smoke obscures the view that is usually clear down State Road 436.
