Wekiva’s Brayden Stieger throws the ball to a teammate Monday, March 28, during a boys water polo District 2 semifinal match against the Gainesville Hurricanes. Wekiva took an early 3-1 lead, but the Hurricanes came back to defeat the Mustangs, 18-6, in the match played at the Lake Brantley High School pool. The loss ended Wekiva’s season with a 9-8 record.
