Eyecare is extremely important for people of all ages.
As many know, summer vacation will soon be ending for school age children. Getting an eye exam now will help ensure your child is heading into the school year in their best overall health to learn.
Essential Eyecare & Optical knows your eyesight is one of your most important senses: 80% of what we perceive comes through our sense of sight. Many people might think their eyesight is fine, but then they get that first pair of glasses or contact lenses and the world comes into clearer view—everything from fine print to street signs.
Undiagnosed vison problems in children can interfere with reading skills, attention span, social interaction and can affect their confidence with their peers. Common signs indicate a child might be having difficulty with their vision or eye health are tearing, squinting, light sensitivity and frequent headaches.
Eyes are important indicators of overall health for everyone. Comprehensive eye care goes beyond a prescription for glasses or contact lenses. At Essential Eyecare & Optical, they take the time to get to know you, your eye care history, and your vision needs. Their optometrist, Dr. David Dada, provides the expert care, advice, options, and the follow-up you need, whether you are a new patient or an existing one.
An Apopka, Florida native, Dr. David Dada attended high school at Forest Lake Academy. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Gainesville’s University of Florida, and a Bachelor’s of Vision Science and Doctor of Optometry at NOVA Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale.
Dr. Dada’s comprehensive professional training has taken him to various state-of-the-art clinics, such as the VA Clinic, specialty OMD clinics, and various OD-OMD practices. These experiences have shaped him into an exceptionally skilled optometrist.
It’s important to note that as the pandemic continues, Essential Eyecare & Optical continues taking extra steps to ensure your safety as well as the staff’s. They are conducting pre-screening and in-office screening for all patients and guests, including daily temperature checks for all staff. All patients, guests, and staff are expected to wear face coverings. Please bring a mask or face covering to your appointment to help us conserve PPE for health-care providers.
Essential Eyecare & Optical will continue to do additional sanitization and cleaning in our office and between patients. They will also be practicing social distancing in the office including avoiding any unnecessary contact between staff and patients.
What sets Essential Eye Care & Optical apart is their understanding that eyes are important indicators of overall health, and comprehensive eye care goes beyond a prescription for glasses or contact lenses. They take the time to get to know you, your eye care history, and your vision needs. They provide the expert care, advice, options, and follow- up you need whether you are a new patient or an existing one.
