A great blue heron keeps an eye on a potential meal along the Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive. The drive is free to the public and opens at 7 a.m. with the final entrance to the 11-mile one-way drive at 3 p.m. The exit gate is locked at 5 p.m. The entrance is located at 2850 Lust Road, Apopka.
