Reilly Cardella is crowned Miss Apopka 2024

Reilly Cardella was crowned Miss Apopka 2024 at the Miss Apopka Scholarship Competition on Saturday, December 2, at the Apopka High School auditorium. She succeeds Sarah Sarver as the titleholder.

As Miss Apopka, Cardella, who hails from the Tampa area, qualifies to compete for the Miss Florida title. The titleholder of Miss Florida will then go on to enter the Miss America Competition.

The awards Cardella received as Miss Apopka were a $2,000 scholarship, an official Miss Apopka Award, gift certificates, crystal earrings, a portrait sitting with a photographer, courtesy business and photo cards, a two-hour interview prep session, a subscription to The Apopka Chief, and a floral bouquet.

The first runner-up for Miss Apopka is Maci Miotto. The second runner-up is Tori Leto. Each runner-up received a scholarship, an official Miss Apopka Award, and a floral bouquet.

Six delegates competed in this year’s Miss Apopka Scholarship Competition.

The Miss America and Miss America’s Teen competitions will take place in the Walt Disney Theater of Orlando’s Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts January 6-14, 2024.

The Miss Florida and Miss Florida’s Teen competitions will take place in June 2024.
