Police search for missing woman, last seen in Marianna; UPDATE: Woman found, police say on May 7

UPDATE, May 7, 2024: Hilary Ramos Acosta has returned home safe and in good health, police say. 

Apopka police is searching for a missing and endangered woman who hasn’t returned home since she left it early this week.

On Monday, April 15, at approximately 9 a.m., Hilary Patricia Ramos Acosta departed her residence on E. Lisa Lane in Apopka. Hilary made comments to her family about wanting to go to an unknown refugee shelter in Orlando.

Hilary Patricia Ramos Acosta is a 26-year-old Hispanic female who is 5-ft, 7-in. tall, weighs 200 pounds, and has brown eyes and dyed red hair. She has a tattoo of a butterfly on the inside of her forearm.

In prior cases, Hilary has been located at Universal Studios City Walk in the food court/restaurant areas. She does not have a cell phone and her clothing description is unknown. Hilary is considered “Missing and Endangered” and requires care.
