Orange County Library System’s Summer at Your Library will offer free activities and events for all ages from June 1 to July 27, according to a statement from OCLS.

During the summer program, the library system’s 15 locations and pop-up events will offer classes in robotics, yoga, and more.

Special presenters include Juneteenth-inspired concerts with Fyutch, the BenAnna Band, a Comedic Science Show, the Spheres Bubble Show, performances from OrisiRisi African Folklore, adaptations of favorite stories with Atlantic Coast Theatre, cultural dance performances from Raymi Dance School, música en Español with Lucky Diaz, African drum and dance with WONGA! and the Circus Dogs.

OCLS will also feature the Summer at Your Library Summer Reading Challenge. Kids who register for the challenge and track 600 minutes of reading time either in the Beanstack app or with a paper tracker can enter to win prize drawings. Find event details, challenge registration, book lists and important links on the OCLS website.

Six library locations will also offer free lunches to children ages 0-18: Chickasaw, Fairview Shores, Hiawassee, North Orange, South Creek and South Trail branches. Orange County Public Schools Food & Nutrition Services Mobile Lunch, part of the USDA Summer Food Service Program, will provide the lunches from Mondays through Fridays. Details and more locations are available on the OCLS website.
