The city-owned parking lot on the north side of Fifth Street between Park Avenue and Central Avenue is being reconstructed through funding from the Community Redevelopment Agency. The parking lot will be used for businesses that face U.S. Highway 441 as well as for other businesses and events at the Apopka Community Center/VFW. It is expected to be completed in two months.
