A pair of mottled ducks stand on the edge of a road along the Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive last week. The entrance to the free, 11-mile, one-way drive is at 2850 Lust Dr., Apopka, and is open Friday-Sunday and federal holidays. The entrance gate opens at 7 a.m. and closes at 3 p.m., while the exit gate closes at 5 p.m.
