Starting September 19, community members can “walk with ease” at three different Apopka-area locations by getting involved in the Arthritis Foundation Walk with Ease program, which can help participants reduce their pain and improve their overall health.
This is a free six-week class that includes a free t-shirt and free snacks. Classes are one-hour each, three times per week.
The Arthritis Foundation-certified, doctor-recommended Walk with Ease program will be made available to interested locals through the following schedule:
- Alonzo Williams Park, 515 S. Hawthorne Ave., Apopka, 32703
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9:30-10:30 a.m.
- Fran Carlton Center,11 N. Forest Ave., Apopka, 32703
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 5:15-6:15 p.m.

- Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9-10 a.m.
Walk with Ease can help people:
- Get motivated to get in great shape
- Walk safely and comfortably
- Improve flexibility, strength and stamina
- Reduce pain and feel great
