All schools and district offices will return to normal operations tomorrow, Thursday, August 31 including all after-school activities, Orange County Public Schools announced.
OCPS avoided any major impact from Hurricane Idalia, the district said in a press release.
Due to the adjustment made this year in the district’s instructional minutes, students will not have to make up the lost day due to Idalia.
Families and employees received updates through phone calls, emails and text messages as to the re-opening of schools and facilities.
As always, social media such as Facebook and X (Twitter) as well as school and district webpages are a way to stay up to date on all news impacting OCPS.
