Joe Chealey, a 2013 Apopka High School graduate, played in his first career NBA game on Wednesday, January 30, scoring two points for the Charlotte Hornets in their game at Boston. Chealey, who played college basketball at the College of Charleston, is believed to be the first Apopka Blue Darter to play in the NBA.
