The Budweiser Clydesdales made a special appearance in downtown Apopka on Friday, December 2, seen here marching on Park Avenue. The Budweiser Clydesdales’ appearance was a joint effort between fallen Apopka firefighter Austin Duran’s father Michael Duran, his employer City Beverages (an Anheuser-Busch wholesaler), the city of Apopka, and the Armando Borjas Jr. Scholarship. The Clydesdales were scheduled to appear ahead of the annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony, which took place that evening before a large crowd at Kit Land Nelson Park.
