UPDATE Tuesday, Sept. 10: Missing endangered adult recovered; Apopka police search for missing and endangered woman last seen on scooter

UPDATE on Tuesday, September 10 @ 10:58 p.m. from Apopka Police Department: “Missing Endangered Adult JoEllen Langenfeld has been recovered in good condition and reunited with her family.” 

Apopka police are searching for a missing and endangered 61-year-old white woman, who was last seen leaving the area on an electric Segway scooter.

On Monday, September 9, at 11:30 a.m., JoEllen Langenfeld was last seen leaving 2101 Lakeview Ridge Circle, Apopka (Harmon on the Lake Apartment).

It is unknown what clothing Ms. Langenfeld was in at the time she was last seen. Ms. Langenfeld is 5’03”, weighs 110 pounds, and has brown eyes and wavy brown hair.
