Apopka City Council to conduct workshops for 2024-25 budget

The Apopka City Council will conduct its budget workshops next month, reviewing all of the city departments’ finances for fiscal year 2025.

All workshops will be live streamed from the Apopka City Hall Council Chambers on the following dates and times:

• Budget Workshop No. 1 on Monday, July 8, at 5 p.m. with Community Development, Economic Development, Parks & Recreation, and Administration
• Budget Workshop No. 2 on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 5:45 p.m. (following the Apopka Planning Commission) with Information Technology and Public Services
• Budget Workshop No. 3 on Wednesday, July 10, at 5 p.m. with Police and Fire
• Special Council meeting to approve and set proposed fiscal year 2024-25 millage rate on Wednesday, July 10, at 7 p.m.
