September 27, there will be a flag retiring ceremony at 5 p.m. When the flag is worn out or otherwise no longer a fitting emblem for display, it should be destroyed in a dignified way. VFW Post 10147 provides the community with a method for the proper disposal of its flags. Bring your flag to a weekly meeting to drop off.
