The city of Apopka has three events planned for Saturday, April 20, at the Northwest Recreation Complex, 3710 Jason Dwelley Parkway.
The first is the 5K Rabbit Run and Bunny Hop with registration online at Apopka.net. Registration begins at 7 a.m. and the race will start at 7:30 a.m.
After the 5K run, Easter Eggstravaganza will begin at 9:45 a.m., and the Public Safety Day is planned to start at 10 a.m. and end at 1 p.m. SWAT and K9 units, police and fire displays and vehicles as well as demonstrations are planned.
Admission is free for the family event and there will be music and free food as well.
