EARL ROPER, 88, Franklin, North Carolina, died Saturday, November 3.  Mr. Roper was teacher and driving instructor and founder of the Teachers Credit Union of Apopka. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and Bronze Star recipient. Mr. Roper was a member of American Legion Post 108 and the Memorial United Methodist Church. ANNIE BELLE DRIGGERS GILLIAM, 97, Apopka, died Sunday, November 4. Mrs. Gilliam was born in Kingstree, South Carolina. She and her late husband were in the citrus caretaking business among many other side businesses. Mrs. Gilliam was on the Board of Directors of the Apopka Historical Society at the Museum of the Apopkans for 50 years. LACY EDWARD FARMER, 84, Zellwood, died Thursday, October 25. Mr. Farmer was born in Jenkinjones, West Virginia. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. DELORES MAUREEN MOOTY, 83, Apopka, died Thursday, November 8. She was a member of the Temple Free Will Baptist Church in Winter Garden.

DORIS McLELLAND ARNOLD, 92, Zellwood, died Monday, November 5. Mrs. Arnold was born in Downing Park. She was owner of Electric Motor Repair Corp. He was the owner-operator of six Mobil dealerships and an entrepreneur in many other projects. Mr. Mountcastle was a member of New Visions Community Church, Apopka.
