Wekiwa Springs Baptist Church will host a Seder Dinner at 584 N. Wekiwa Springs Rd., Apopka on Sunday, March 28 at 5 p.m. It is open to the public. “This dinner is to celebrate a Passover/Seder meal. Passover is often celebrated with great pomp and ceremony, especially on the first night, when a special family meal called the Seder is held. At the Seder, foods of symbolic significance commemorating the Hebrews’ liberation are eaten, and prayers and traditional recitations are performed,” a church spokesman said. Those interested in attending were asked to RSVP by March 14 by calling Deborah Peterson at 407-443-0961. Hours of services at Wekiwa Springs Baptist Church are: Sunday school begins at 9 a.m. with Sunday morning worship at 10:15 a.m. and a Sunday evening worship service at 6:30 p.m. There is also a Wednesday worship at 6:30 p.m. The church phone number is 407-886-7864.
