The Apopka Proud country music concert is scheduled for Saturday, May 4, at the Apopka amphitheater that is located at the Northwest Recreation Complex off Jason Dwelley Parkway north of Ponkan Road. The headline entertainers will be Apopka native John Anderson and Sawyer Brown, which has two members, Gregg Hubbard and Mark Miller, who are from Apopka. Tickets for permanent seats at the amphitheater are sold out, but seating on the large lawn area is free. Parking will be $10 per vehicle. Other country music groups from the area will perform earlier in the day beginning at noon.
