The Apopka Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast is scheduled for May 6 at the Apopka Community Center/VFW Post 10147 Building. The event is an annual gathering of local leaders and members of the community to unite on common values of faith and prayer. Hosted by the current mayor as well as the Apopka Christian Ministerial Alliance (ACMA), the breakfast is held in conjunction with the National Day of Prayer. Doors and buffet open at 6:30 a.m. The program is 7-8:30 a.m. Individual ticket sales will be available in the near future.
