JOAN MARIE BAILEY, 58, St. Cloud, died Saturday, May 22. She was raised in Apopka and graduated from Apopka Memorial High School. She was a popular DJ at Phineas Phoggs at Church Street Station in Orlando and later had a career in real estate sales in Lake Nona. She and her family enjoyed fishing. Survivors: husband, Scott; daughter, Betina; son, Brant; brother, Robert Christmas; sisters, Cindy Christmas, Ginger Goff; two grandchildren.

DWIGHT A. DOGGETT, 95, Apopka, died Wednesday, June 2. Mr. Doggett was born in Ashland, Ohio. For many years, he was the organizer of the Memorial Day service in Zellwood. MYRTLE LEE McGUCKIN, 88, Kingston, Tennessee, and formerly of Apopka, died Tuesday, June 15. Mrs. McGuckin was born in Madison, Fla. She was a member of Luminary United Methodist Church in Ten Mile, Tennessee. She enjoyed bird watching and was an avid fan of Elvis Presley. Harvey Dell Woolridge, 92, Apopka, died June 4. He was a propane carboration and conversion specialist, and did special effects for both Disney and Universal Studies.  After his retirement, he worked for Lumberjack (now Ace Hardware). Jim Sursely, 73, Apopka, died May 30. He was born in Rochester, Minnesota. A nationally celebrated veterans advocate and real estate professional, he was a triple amputee who was wounded in Vietnam on a combat mission in January 1969.
