JAMES “JIM” C. ANDREWS, 88, Apopka, died Wednesday, February 10. Born in Amityville, New York, Mr. Andrews was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the Korean Ward. He later joined the U.S. Air Force and served in Vietnam. He and his family moved to Apopka in 1971 where he worked for a security company and later opened his own security agency. BRENDA HANCOCK, 63, Apopka, died Sunday, January 17. She was born in Dade City and graduated from Brandon High School in 1975. She was employed in various positions in the medical field. Survivors: husband, Carlton; sons, Todd Davis, Justin; sister, Cecelia “Cissy” Sealy; mother, Margaret Spradley; two granddaughters.

DARRELL LEE GARDNER, 83, Zellwood, died Tuesday, January 26. Born in Ogden, Mich., Mr. Gardner served in the U.S. Navy and also held many jobs in Michigan, Georgia, and Florida. He also served in volunteer positions throughout his life. He moved to Zellwood Station in 2018. He was a member of Rolling Hills Community Church, Zellwood. Survivors: wife, Janet, Zellwood; sons, Tony, Adrian Mich., Raymond, Bradenton; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
